If you’re a fan of seaside chic or preppy coastal design, then you’re in for a treat!
In this latest home tour, we’ll be inspired by a residence that invites guests to live an endless summer, effortlessly marrying breezy coastal style with a dash of preppy elegance.
Enclosed in the exclusive John’s Island in the Vero Beach area, this gem of a remodel is the work of the talented team behind Ryan A. Jones & Associates.
Their knack for creating inviting coastal interiors is on full display here, and it’s worth a peek if you’re dreaming of your own beachside haven. You can look at more of their remodel projects, HERE.
If my investigator skills don’t fail me, I believe the interior designer responsible for this stunning John’s Island home remodel is Leah Muller Interiors (Check her Instagram HERE)
I must admit, I’m a tad partial to these renovations. With a penchant for coastal decor and a home in the area myself, it’s hard not to be impressed. But personal bias aside, the design speaks for itself!
Settle in and let’s explore this coastal charmer together. Shall we?
Preppy Coastal Delight in This Vero Beach Home Tour
With its soft blue walls, light wood flooring, and arched French doors, this entryway embodies coastal elegance.
A patterned chest adds visual interest, while the seascape painting and fresh flowers bring in those natural beachy elements.
Light hardwood floors, white walls, and trim run throughout the house, imbuing a feeling of airiness all around.
Large abstract paintings in shades of blue and green add a splash of color to the modern preppy coastal theme in different corners of the home.
A weathered wood cabinet with mirrored doors adds texture, while palm fronds in a vase bring a tropical touch.
The living room features a light and airy palette with soft blue-gray walls and white trim.
Anchoring the space, there’s a classic white fireplace, flanked by decorative oval mirrors in a coastal style. Plaid upholstered sofas in light blue and white create a cohesive look, while coral accent pillows add a pop of contrasting color.
Natural textures like the jute rug and woven rattan chairs warm up the space while adding contrast to the soft color scheme.
In the family room, the furniture takes a more modern twist that maximizes the tropical views outside.
The dining area whispers coastal chic with a dash of glamor. A show stopping beaded chandelier cascades over a rustic table, while white lattice-back chairs add a breezy touch.
Crisp white cabinetry plays beautifully against a robin’s egg blue island, crowned with a concrete countertop that reflects the hues of sandy shores.
Breezy X-back barstools invite casual gatherings, while glass pendant lights float overhead, adding more glam.
The bedroom embraces coastal charm with a striking palm leaf accent wall. The sky-blue headboard and matching bench nestle against it, complementing the tropical wallpaper’s cool tones.
White bedding keeps things crisp and fresh, while yellow and patterned accent pillows add a playful pop, bringing a touch of seaside cheer to this serene space.
This bedroom takes a delightful detour into the retro-tropical territory. Cool and light blue-green walls set a calm backdrop, while pops of turquoise and vivid orange stand out against crisp white bedding.
It’s a cheerful nod to vintage beach resorts, inviting both relaxation and a touch of playful nostalgia.
In this bedroom, there’s a more refined coastal take with a dash of modern flair. A palm-patterned headboard sets a tropical tone, while geometric and chevron pillows in soft oranges add warmth.
The sleek brass sconce and dark ceramic accents along with the floral framed mirror and sea shell decor bring an unexpected edge, creating a sophisticated beachy retreat that’s far from cliché.
A large abstract seascape painting dominates this space, its calming blues echoed in the chair upholstery. Natural textures abound – from the jute rug to the driftwood centerpiece and woven chairs. It’s a masterclass in balancing beachy elements with polished design for an elevated seaside aesthetic.
This corner is coastal chic at its finest! Don’t you agree?
Blending traditional elements with coastal influences, this chic John’s Island home makes for an elegant yet relaxed retreat that’s quintessentially Vero Beach!

Where did she get the light blue check chairs/sofa?
They are most likely custom pieces that this designer had made.
I love this home! By any chance do you recognize the artist who did the abstract art? I reached out to the designer and they haven’t answered…. (the painting behind the blue sofa, with the bamboo white lamp to the left, whose source I am also trying to find through Google Lens).
I don’t know Marguerite, sorry
