Welcome back, home décor enthusiasts and dear friends! I come with a new edition of our Home Tour Series, this time around we’ll be visiting Charlotte House.

Designed by Phoebe Howard, this home pays homage to timeless aesthetics, oozing sophistication, and panache.

As we step inside, we’re greeted with spaces where traditional elegance shines brightly. Intertwining old-world allure and modern finesse effortlessly, this home is full of mesmerizing spaces that will instantly spark your inspiration!

Traditional Sophistication in Charlotte House Home Tour

Connecting the entryway to an elegant curved staircase is an arched threshold, creating a seamless flow throughout the space. The ivory and creamy tones of the floors and walls.

The walls and floors are dressed in a calming creamy hue, giving a serene feel right away. The trimmings on the walls and ceilings accentuate the charming curved lines of the structure, making it a fundamental part of the home’s character. 

A 3-seat sofa in the gentlest of yellow warms up the soft ivory tones that dominate the space, along with upholstered armchairs and ottomans in a soft powder blue.
Little accents like lamps, artwork, and ceramic decor pieces inject a bit of excitement into the room’s serene palette.

As you will see, this stunning home has quite a few seating areas, one prettier than the last. In this one, the design manages to be both cozy and airy, striking the perfect balance between classic comfort and modern openness.

As you stroll through the hallway, the consistent ivory and cream backdrop extends, creating a cohesive flow. This calming canvas sets the stage for furniture with a traditional flair – think rich, dark wood and intricate carving that adds a touch of timeless sophistication.

A stunning stone wall featuring an arched window serves as the central focal point, grounding the entire space. The sofas and armchairs, dressed in soothing light blue, white, and dove gray upholstery, add to the serene feel while offering a striking contrast against the textured richness of the stone wall.

The dining room comes alive with its thoughtful details: layered rugs underfoot, a dark wooden table as the centerpiece, and an antique-style chandelier and a buffet console prettily styled. Floor-to-ceiling white windows are gracefully adorned with lush curtains, adding to the room’s elegant allure.

Entering the kitchen, a distinctly modern style takes the spotlight. Sleek and streamlined, the furniture and fixtures add to the contemporary aesthetic with a smart layout featuring a seating booth nestled against the back of the kitchen island.

Marrying opulence and timeless design, one of the bedrooms boasts a distinctly feminine charm. Adorned with a delicate wallpaper featuring white botanical illustrations against a pinkish-nude backdrop.

The furniture embraces creamy and ivory tones, along with the plush carpet and lush curtains.

In the guest bedroom, a delightful aesthetic unfolds in soft white and ecru hues. Adding both contrast and texture, a Provence chandelier lamp with a dark bronze finish and a sisal carpet.

This space exudes a timeless and striking aesthetic reminiscent of an “old money” country club, filled with natural light. 

A white and light blue color scheme enlivens the space, with light blue tile walls elegantly matching the cabinets and upholstered chairs, seamlessly tying the design together.

The chairs offer a cozy seating area that maximizes the comfort and spa-like feel of this indulgent bathroom.

This home has many quiet corners that exude style. Topped with carefully selected decor items -like a ceramic ginger jar and the pretty floral arrangement- a baroque chest of drawers in rich dark wood offers extra storage and an extra dash of elegance.

The outdoor decor is just as stunning.

There’re various seating areas across the home, all designed with a traditional style and relaxed lines.

A woven faux-rattan modular sectional creates a dreamy spot to enjoy the afternoon sun.

The family room seamlessly merges with the outdoors through expansive glass windows and doors. Complemented by a pool table and comfortable leather chairs, this space effortlessly balances casual comfort with a touch of opulence.
