Home Tour Highlights & Some Of Your Favorites!

Do you ever wish that you could be a fly on the wall of a beautiful home? That’s what I love about the home tours that I feature on this blog. You can fly in virtually to homes that I cherry pick from friends who inspire me. Today I am sharing a few favorites that you come to time and again. They are all real people, not magazine ready styled shots necessarily. All are different, a variety of styles budgets and homeowners. The one thing in common? They all have well thought out design ideas that in browsing and perhaps even studying we can benefit from. We used to clip out magazine pages that inspired us and filed them away for later use in days past. The beauty of blogs and the online world is that there is no longer that need. Boom, we are here for you all of the time!

One of your favorite tours that I’ve featured is the home of my friend Terri. It’s an old home here in Florida and she’s given it some fabulous French flair! I spent some time with her last year and she was the loveliest lady to get to know. She has a very successful Etsy shop where she makes and sells linens. I’m adding a few links below to her shop, which I know you all love. Simply slide with the arrows to see more and then click on the individual images…

Such a wonderful mix of vintage in her kitchen that has been updated for modern use, but hasn’t lost it’s early 1900’s charm. See more of her home tour here – Simply French Home Tour.

One of the most creative homeowners that I know is Kathy of R.House. She and her husband have utilized lots of vintage findings to build their home and have an incredible hand made greenhouse! See the tour in entirety HERE and drool!

Everything in Canadian designer Monika Hibbs home is clean and fresh. We love her bedroom and despite that the fact that she has young children she does indeed live with lots of white in her decor!
